Volunteering in palliative care
When we look for volunteers, we're looking for six key qualities: energy and empathy, passion and compassion, enthusiasm and commitment. Our aim is to build a pool of volunteers that embodies and reflects these key attributes. "Without our volunteers it would be impossible to provide care and support in some of our programs." says Dr. Russell Goldman, the Centre's Director and Leader of the Max and Beatrice Wolfe Children's Centre. "They are crucial to us, and our appreciation of their work is beyond words."
At this time, we only require volunteers for our Comfort Tray Program. To find out more about how to volunteer for this program visit the volunteer section of the Mount Sinai Hospital website.
